OASIS SUNRISE was beaten a short head at Bath a week back, the latest of two placed runs since a comfortable win there over a mile on firm. Now a filly stepping up to a mile and a half for the first time, 1lb ahead of the handicapper, drawn one on good to firm. Should go well.

HIGH CALIBRE makes his debut for Richard Hannon, an 82,000gns February foal by Lucky Vega out of a German 2yo winner whose family includes Group 3 scorers Grocer Jack and Ghislaine. Likely to want further in time, but a respected yard wouldn't run him here without a reason. Can improve.

ARGY BHAJI ran second of seven on his handicap and turf debut at Yarmouth last month, also over six furlongs on good to firm. Before that he placed in all three of his all-weather starts, so he keeps turning up. Drops to five furlongs here for James Fanshawe and an unexposed type can improve.
